Solotrapper
We are a small family business with two of our four children being young adults very much involved with our outdoor activities whenever they can be. The logistics of juggling life, family, a business, activities, and trying to get some Whitetail Deer hunting in November, is hectic, to say the least. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Our winters are very busy with school, hockey, and trapping. It just doesn’t get more Canadian than that.
Jake’s Wilderness Experience
Jake’s wilderness experiences are not limited to Alberta but span as far south as Sonora Mexico and as far north as Victoria Island, Nunavut. From hunting the Coues Deer in Sonora Mexico to hunting the Musk Ox in Cambridge Bay Nunavut. From hunting the alligator in Houma, Louisiana to the Polar Bear on South Hampton Island in the Hudson’s Bay. Jake has found a way to experience these wild animals and wilderness regions afforded to us adventure seekers. All the while looking for opportunities to come into contact with fur-bearers, these adventures would also produce for the trophy room an Arctic fox, Sonoran Jack Rabbit and an Arctic Hare to name a few.
We want to bring you into the presence of the North American fur-bearers.
We want to bring you the message of conservation and understanding of this regions very healthy populations of canids, mustelids and rodent fur-bearers populations. And what this means in todays day and age of a modern-day trapper.
